As I saw my students play everyday during high school I often wondered, whether they will get a chance to play professionally and make a name in the sports that were so dear to them? Despite being greatly concerned it was practically impossible for me to access college coaches and create opportunities for every individual player on my own. However when I heard about Athletic Scholarships I was seriously excited. I know that years of hard work on my and my student’s behalf would not go waste after all. So I called a team meeting before season finale and briefed my team about Utah Scholarships. Through the easy step wise process of creating player profile and an opportunity to upload videos of their game, the college coaches could precisely observe their sports talent as well as their virtues as a team player.
Watching my students walk out with a sparkle of hope in their eyes made me proud as a coach. Today I feel relieved and satisfied when I watch many of my student players do well in the field. Even the College Football Scholarship gave many of them a chance to try their luck in the increasingly competitive sport of football.
